Join us on a full-day tour visiting three historical cities in Dalmatia with three unique stories. Get prepared for a true knowledge bomb, as you find out how the lifestyle in these cities has been changing throughout history.
Our tour starts in Trogir – a small town on an island, situated between the mainland and the island of Čiovo. The entire historic city of Trogir is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see Kairos, the personification of opportunity, luck and favorable moments in Greek mythology, in the form of a unique relief that can be seen only in Trogir. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the main town square, the Cipico Palace, the city gate and city walls are just some of the sights we will explore. After a short drive, we will reach Salona – an ancient city with the remains of an amphitheatre, Roman houses and other historical monuments… It is one of the oldest Croatian cities.
Our final destination in the tour is the city of Split. Once a residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian, Split is the second-biggest city in Croatia today. After a walk through the Diocletian’s Palace, you will get the opportunity to enjoy some typical coffee time on the waterfront. Along the way, we will also stop in a traditional village for a proper Dalmatian lunch.
